Évanouie, édition Passiflore

RESUME

Évanouie, a character with a strange and prophetic name, chose early on to lead a life guided by her social and familial obligations. But one day, the gaze of others that had constrained her all her life disappears. No one remembers the young woman anymore, as if she had never existed.

While this situation seems to allow Évanouie to escape the expectations of her surroundings, the accumulation of missed appointments gradually pushes her to her limits: without this gaze, what remains of herself? Will she finally be able to fulfill her desires that she had only dared to dream of until now?

A debut novel about the power of oblivion, both liberating and destructive, that questions our relationship to others and its importance in the construction of our existence.
